Nanoscience? What? How?
Nanoscience study the matter very VERY close. That is why the unit used to measure things is the nanometer, which is billion times smaller then a metro (like a flea on an area 10,000 times larger than a football stadium). In other words, 1.000.000.000nm = 1m.
Do you know how small is a nanometer? Taking as reference the diameter of Earth (about 12,800 km), what do you think keeps the same relationship that exists between the meter and nanometer?
